OK boy and girls we are in  the last talks with the hotel as to taking payments for the rooms  so we will post the details as soon as we know.
The hotel is now full as we have filled all 28 rooms ,there is also under ground parking at the rear of the hotel just to make the exhausts sound a little better and to keep Darrens bike dry so he can come on the ride out this time. rain thumbs

Hi Pete,
Due to health problems myself & Julie won't be able to make the may meet this year so that'll free up a double room.
Needless to say I'm gutted but it's beyond my control.

Post  spook on Sun 12 Feb 2017, 21:48

Hi Hey Presto

I am posting this on the site so that everyone can see who may want to join us.

There is a choice of hotels in close range to us

The Archangel BA11 1BH - just opposite to us
The Old Bath Arms BA11 1DS - 2 minutes walk up the hill
The Cornerhouse BA11 1QA - 5 minute walk up the top of the hill
The Blue Boar BA11 1AN - 1 minute walk across the road - looks like a very basic pub with accommodation

Or The Premier The FromeFlyer BA11 2LD - 2 miles from the George

If you stay in one of the town places you would be able to leave the bike at the George

Rooms may become available at the George if members change their mind but no guarantees. Hope this helps, would be good to see you, if you need any more help pm me.

Me and Sharron are hoping to stop at the Westfield Court Hotel in Sutton Coldfield where the last May meet was held, if the influx of our club didn't trawmatize them too much last time. I think maybe Mick and Sheila are thinking of staying over as well, I think Nick is making some tentative inquiries for us, we can then tag onto the midland contigent for the run down.

going straight down the M5 in the car, there is no point in trying to tag along with you guys
on the bikes for the journey down there. wink
