PostSubject: How to post pictures.   27th February 2010, 10:38

The image hosting on this site is disabled due to the total limit of files allowed for the entire forum being only 20mb, but
this may change in the future. This limit is set by the forum host, not me and cannot be increased, so as you can
imagine 20mb is nothing and would soon be filled. The best way is to open an account with photobucket.

http://photobucket.com

Once you have got your pictures onto photobucket you need to post them on here, so go into photobucket and put
your cursor over the pic you want, you should then get a small box show up as in the following picture. Notice the
RED ARROWS in each picture.

move your cursor down to the box that has IMG Code and click your left mouse button inside the oblong box
that has the text in it....(see above pic), you should very briefly see the message copied.

Now come back to the forum and begin to create a message in the normal way....enter whatever text you want
to put in there and when your ready to insert your picture click your righthand mouse button, you should then
get a box come up as in the picture below.

Click on paste

This will then insert the IMG CODE into your message. If you have 2 browser windows open you can
paste all your pictures into 1 message, there is no need to create a seperate message for each picture.

Click on your + sign to open another window/tab.

and put all your pictures into your message like this by going back and fourth from photobucket to here.

You can then look at your message before posting it by using the preview button and if your happy
with what you see, click the send button to post your message.

You can also use http://www.servimg.com via this forum to host your pictures, but it does have a 1mb upload
limit
for each individual picture.

step 1
-------
Start a new topic/message in the normal way, enter any text that you wish to and then when your ready to insert
a picture click on the host an image icon as show in the screen shot below.

Then click on the browse button and find the picture on your computer that you want to upload.

step 2
-------
Once you have uploaded your picture you should then get a screen as shown below.
Click on the copy button at the side of the text for image as shown and it should turn blue.
The image link should now be copied and you can go directly to putting the link in your message by using
the right mouse button and paste function (go directly to step 4), but that didn't work for me, so if it doesn't
work for you either just carry on to step 3.

step 3
-------
Now whilst keeping your cursor over the blue text, press your right mouse button and you will get a popup
box as below. Click your left mouse button on copy.

step 4
-------
Now click the host an image button to get rid of that window.

step 5
-------
Now press your right mouse button again and you will get that popup window again, click on
paste and it will copy your image link into your message.

It should look like this.

As with photobucket you can add numerous pictures into just 1 message by clicking the host an image
button and uploading another picture.

step 6
-------
Use the preview to check your message and when your happy with it click the send button
to post your message.
